Rent versus Buy

These past two months have had more Ameridream buyers and renters than I've ever seen. It's great to see buyers get the home of their dreams with this program before it sunsets on 9/30/08.
I spent some time this weekend with a family moving to the Indianapolis/Fishers area who need to rent for a year before buying. The commission on a rental is typically 10% of the first months rent, so about $100-$150 in most cases. Why would we spend time showing rentals? Many agents would not, but the Marchant Team cares about people. I had a great time with these folks and we found them the perfect home to rent, got their paperwork in and signed the lease today. They are thrilled and so am I.
Tomorrow I will be with another family showing rentals and hope to find them a place to live as well. Fishers Real Estate has many options for families and renting is one way to recover from some credit issues, live in a new city to learn it before buying, or to save some money and buy the home you really want in a year or so. If that's you, we'd be glad to help you find the right place.
